After ten years of playing with Thomas Morgan and Joao Lobo to recorr many ECM albums, in 2024 we were joined by James Brandon Lewis for a new project. His unmistakable tone and style engage in a dialogue with the trio, moving us towards more abstract territories and improvisations that indicate a new direction, even more open and exploratory. 'A New Day' is the title of the album, which in many ways marks a true 'new beginning.'

The quartet presents the album's material live, with some returns to past repertoire, revisited in this new light.
